Knights of Columbus Silver Rose

Please join us on Thursday, October 2nd at 7:00 PM, in Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Shrine for a special Mass, followed by a Rosary Prayer Service and Exposition of the Silver Rose.

Join thousands of Catholics across North America in asking for Our Lady of Guadalupe's intercession through the Silver Rose Program.

In 1960, the Columbian Squires, a youth organization of the Knights of Columbus, began the tradition of carrying a rose to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Monterrey, Mexico, to honor Our Lady. The rose was chosen in memory of Saint Juan Diego and the miracle of the roses.

Today, eight Silver Roses travel along different North American routes through Canada, the United States, and Mexico. At each stop, the faithful gather in prayer centered on the Holy Rosary to ask for respect for life, the spiritual renewal of our nations, and the spread of Our Lady of Guadalupe's message of hope and love.

Your participation in the Silver Rose Program, especially through your prayers and commitment to life, is an essential part of this mission. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn, the Americas, and the Knights of Columbus, continues to guide and inspire us.
