The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrates the Blessed Mother’s entrance into heavenly glory. The Catechism explains that Mary “was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven, where she already shares in the glory of her Son’s Resurrection, anticipating the resurrection of all members of his Body” (CCC, 974).

Yesterday, the NJ Assembly passed AR127, a pro-abortion resolution condemning the recent Arizona Supreme Court ruling.  The Resolution also reaffirmed support for NJ's extreme abortion laws.   AR127 was introduced on April 11th.  The Resolution was not scheduled for a hearing, or listed on the Assembly Board list for the voting session.
